Our mat Pilates classes begin with a grounding breath practice to help you connect with your body and become present. From there, we move mindfully through each area — mobilising joints, building strength, and creating length through controlled, purposeful movement.

​Your instructor, Nic will provide options to either ease back or push yourself further, plus tailored modifications to suit any injuries or how your body is feeling on the day.

Every class is designed to leave you feeling balanced and realigned, with a full-body approach that supports both stability and flexibility. We finish with a calming 5-minute relaxation, using guided meditation to help you reset your nervous system and leave the mat feeling refreshed, centred, and restored.​

Pilates Tone

Pilates Tone

In this energising 45-minute class, you’ll begin with a dynamic warm-up, priming the muscle groups you’ll be working. Then, enjoy a full-body, low-impact Pilates-style workout — sometimes incorporating props like Pilates balls, resistance bands, yoga blocks, rollers, sliders, and hand weights — all designed to strengthen, sculpt, and tone. We’ll blend muscle-building moves with stretching and balance work, giving you a complete and well-rounded session.

Your instructor, Esther will provide options to either ease back or push yourself further, plus tailored modifications to suit any injuries or how your body is feeling on the day. Each class closes with a calming relaxation, leaving you refreshed, restored, and ready to take on the rest of your day.

Our Barre class blends the precision of Pilates, the elegance of ballet, and the energy of functional fitness to create a dynamic, full-body workout. Set to uplifting music, you’ll move through low-impact, high-repetition sequences that sculpt and tone muscles, improve posture, and build core strength — all while being kind to your joints.​

Zest IT (Interval Training)

Zest IT (Interval Training)

Zest IT is your energising, full-body interval training class designed to build strength, improve endurance, and leave you feeling invigorated!​


We start with a 5-minute standing warm-up to get your body limber, joints mobile, and heart rate gently rising. Then we move into the main interval section, where we focus on targeted movements, working for 40 seconds with 20 seconds of rest in between. Each movement is repeated twice to help build confidence and increase strength with each round.​


We finish with a 5–10 minute cool down and stretch, to bring your heart rate down and restore balance to your body.​


This class is ideal for all levels, with plenty of options to modify or challenge yourself. Whether you're looking to boost your fitness or just add some variety to your routine, Zest IT brings the perfect mix of movement, motivation, and mindful energy.​

About Nic Crocker

Hi, I’m Nic Crocker, the heart behind Gain Momentum Pilates.

My Pilates journey began around 18 years ago in the UK, after a car accident left me with chronic neck and shoulder pain. From the very first class, I was hooked — I loved the feeling of length and space in my body, the strength without impact, and the mindful connection that goes far beyond just physical fitness. Pilates became more than exercise; it became a way to nurture my whole-body wellness.

After having my second child, my pain returned, and I knew it was time for a positive change. That’s when I decided not only to practice Pilates but to dedicate myself to teaching it. I completed my Certificate IV in Matwork Pilates with Polestar Pilates Education in 2017, and since then I’ve been guiding others on their own journeys for over seven years.

Like many of my clients, I’m still navigating my own chronic pain journey with its ups and downs — and every time, Pilates is what helps me move, heal, and feel better. Teaching allows me to share that gift with others.

I’m passionate about continuing to grow my skills, and I’ve completed a number of professional development workshops, including Pre- and Post-Natal Pilates, Yoga Inversions in the Pilates Environment, Music, Dance & Movement and the Brain, Lower Limbs – Pelvis 1 & 2 and Developmental Movement Patterns. I’m currently expanding into Barre, and have also introduced a new class format, Zest IT! — a faster-paced, resistance-based Pilates-inspired class designed for those who love the core burn and strength of Pilates but want to raise their heart rate and work up a sweat.

I truly believe Pilates has something to offer everyone, no matter your starting point or your goals. My mission is to help people move better, feel stronger, and live with more ease and confidence.

Mandy - The b.class®

Mandy - The b.class®

Hi there! My name is Mandy.

I first discovered The b. class® at a Pilates studio I was attending. At first, I wasn’t sure about it, but by the third class, I was hooked!

For me, The b. class® became more than just a workout; it was a chance to release and reset. The energy, music, movement, and lyrics all worked together to shift my mindset, uplift my mood, and help me reconnect with myself.

I used to attend 3-4 classes a week, and I absolutely loved it. So much so, that when the leader training course came up, I decided to take it. I wanted to share the joy that The b. class® brings me with others.

In addition to The b. class®, I work as a dental nurse. My other interests include spending time with my husband, Matt, travelling, socialising with family and friends, visiting my daughter in Darwin, and taking long walks with our dog, Buddy.

I’m excited to invite you to join me and experience the joy of The b. class® for yourself. I can’t wait to dance with you!

Hi, my name is Esther, I’m a Pilates instructor dedicated to promoting health and wellness. With 20 years of experience as a registered nurse, I apply my knowledge of the human body to my Pilates practice for a safe and effective experience. In 2025, I completed my certifications in mat and reformer Pilates and i’m currently furthering my qualifications by studying for a Certificate III in Fitness.

As a mother of two, I understand the importance of balancing family life with personal well-being. I love my 2 cats and new puppy who are also a part of my family. I can’t wait to get to know all of you!

Sonja - Hope and Harmony

Sonja is a heart-centered Reiki Master and energy healer who blends sound, energy, and presence to create spaces of deep rest, reflection and renewal. Through sound bath meditations and soulful practice, she invites participants to relax, release and reconnect with their inner hope and harmony. 

With a grounded yet intuitive approach, Sonja holds nurturing and empowering space, using vibrational soundscapes and mindful intention to support release, clarity, energy balance and healing. She believes in the power of community and the beauty of creating moments of stillness amidst life's busyness, inspiring others to embrace the restorative rhythms of sound and energy.

Sonja loves bringing people together in moments of stillness and reflection, helping them feel restored, aligned, and nourished from the inside out.

Pilates Sound Meditation Workshops

At Gain Momentum Pilates, we offer Pilates Sound Meditation Workshops three times per year — a beautiful blend of mindful movement and sound therapy designed to help you deeply reset and reconnect.

Each 90-minute session begins with 45 minutes of gentle Pilates, helping to ease physical tension, improve mobility, and prepare your body for rest. This is followed by 45 minutes of immersive sound meditation, where you're invited to simply lie back and let the healing frequencies of crystal bowls, gongs, and other instruments wash over you — calming the nervous system and nurturing your mind, body, and soul.

These workshops are perfect for anyone needing time out to restore, release stress, and return to balance. No experience necessary — just bring yourself, an open mind, and a willingness to unwind.
